Nwokeabia, Kemka To Headline Creative Writing Webinar

 

NWOKEABIA, KEMKA TO HEADLINE CREATIVE WRITING WEBINAR

 

Ogbomosho Book Club, a literary organization based in Ogbomosho has set aside June 8th, 2022 to host two prominent guests, Nwokeabia, Ifeanyi John and Daniel Miracle Kemka. They will be speaking on Selling Your Creative Product  and Creative Writing; a sword of hope in trying times.

 

A statement issued by the Coordinator of the Club, Faniyi Tomiwa said the event would take place via Whatsapp by 8:00PM.

 

According to the statement, “This Creative Writing Webinar is a day online course for writers and book lovers who are new to creative writing or who would like to return to the fundamentals of writing.”

 

 The Webinar offers the opportunity to learn from a faculty of nationally known 
professionals in the field of creative writing and to meet fellow writers/readers who share common interests. 

 

PROFILES OF OUR GUEST SPEAKERS

 

NWOKEABIA, IFEANYI JOHN

 

Nwokeabia, Ifeanyi John is a poet, trained teacher and book reviewer. He has Nigeria Certificate in Education and Bachelor of Arts in Education, both in English Language from Federal College of Education, Kontagora, Niger State and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, respectively.

 

His poem,  'How Our Lights Were Put Off' was shortlisted for  the ENDSARS poetry competition organized by the Society of Young Nigerian Writers in collaboration with International Human Rights Art Festival (IHRAF) USA. His poem also appeared in the anthology,  'The Best of 2020: Poets of the World', a publication of Inner Child Press, USA. 

His other works are published in different online platforms like The ShallowTales Review, Qwenu, Poemify, Aceworld, Poemhunter,   the Nigerian Review, Voicesnet, Poetry Soup, SYNWBlog.

 

He has also been featured in the following anthologies:  Boys Are Not Stones Initiative, Arrows of Words (Anthology of poems in memory of Achebe), Riposte of Lockdown Voices,  and   EndSars Poetry Anthology etc.

 

Nwokeabia lives and writes from the city of Awka, Anambra State.

 

DANIEL MIRACLE KEMKA

Daniel is a Graduate of Business Management from Lagos State University, Ojo. He is also a Certified Professional Entrepreneur and Trainer from ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT CENTER [EDC], PAN- AFRICAN UNIVERSITY, LAGOS BUSINESS SCHOOL, Lekki, Lagos.
He is also a certified Entrepreneurship Trainer and Coach from GIZ, GOPA German Cooperation.
Daniel Heads the DMK Media & Resources company and Daniel Kemka Integrated Services; an Online Media, Advertising and Capacity Building Organization.

He is Founder of Daniel Business School; an online program that is channeled
towards the Grooming of young professionals and specialists with a network of young people in Nigeria and other African countries. He is the founder of the signature online training program called “Sell Stupendously Coaching Class (SSCC) that has trained
over a 100 participants. To his credit, Daniel Kemka has coached and trained
over 800 people both physically and virtually.
